It's been awhile since I've posted here, and I have some interesting finds to post when I have the time. But I have set a new collection goal that I'll be updating about along the way. That is to have a complete "Metal Massacre" set. "Metal Massacre" was a series of compilations of underground and unsigned metal bands released by Metal Blade Records between 1982 and 2006. These compilations are where huge names in metal such as Metallica, Slayer, Fates Warning, and Trouble got their start, and the first few releases are quite famous for it. Other great bands have been featured on various albums, although names like Virgin Steele, Slaughter(not the hair metal band), Voivod, Possessed, and Dark Angel might not be as well known. While the last few editions are not all that great, who really thought Six Feet Under and The Red Chord were good enough to be on Metal Massacre XIII, these albums are massively important in the history of metal and most of them are pretty awesome.
